Responsibilities
  • Achieve balanced personal sales and service performance by developing new and existing customer relationships using the customer engagement model.
  • Create a daily individual plan focused on deepening customer relationships and consistently executing service standards and customer retention activities.
  • Partner with the Branch Manager to achieve personal service, sales, and operational goals.
  • Execute and role-model service standards in every customer and teammate interaction.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns by owning the problem and acting as a liaison between the customer and the bank.
  • Use in-person and phone customer interactions to identify additional needs and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Maintain effective partnerships with other lines of business to drive effective and profitable customer relationships.
  • Participate in community activities as a representative of the bank.
  • Serve as a backup Teller or Head Teller when needed.
  • Ensure proper documentation is obtained and completed for solutions to minimize documentation exceptions.
  • Complete account maintenance activities accurately.
  • Stay current on regulations, policies, and procedures related to Personal Banker and branch operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Renasant appoints KBW analyst Catherine Mealor as CFO amid margin pressure

Renasant Corporation has appointed Catherine Mealor as its next Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 January 2027. Mealor spent 23 years at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods covering regional banks, including Renasant, and will transition into the role on 5 October. Outgoing CFO Jim Mabry, who oversaw Renasant's growth from $14 billion to $27 billion in assets, will be nominated for election as a director in 2027. In Q2 2026, Renasant grew loans by $220.9 million at a 4.7% annualised pace, whilst nonperforming loans fell to 0.97% of total loans. However, net interest margin declined 4 basis points to 3.83%, and total deposits fell $398.4 million. Noninterest expense rose $6.2 million due to deferred compensation accruals and higher health insurance claims. The stock trades at a forward P/E of 10.42, with short interest at 5.68% of float.

Renasant names Catherine Mealor as CFO as Jim Mabry transitions to retirement

Renasant Corporation announced Catherine Mealor will join as executive vice president and chief financial officer on 5 October 2026, assuming the CFO role on 1 January 2027. Jim Mabry, CFO since August 2020, will step down at year-end and retire in early 2027. The board intends to nominate Mabry for director election at the 2027 annual meeting. Mealor joins from Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, where she covered small and mid-cap banks across the southeastern US. She brings over 20 years of financial services experience and has served on FASB's Investor Advisory Committee since September 2021. During Mabry's tenure, Renasant grew from $14 billion to $27 billion in assets and completed its largest merger.

IHL approves renaming of Southern Miss' football stadium. Published: Aug. 20, 2026 at 10:13 AM PDT | Updated: 5 hours ago HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - The Mississippi Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) approved a deal on Thursday morning that will rename M.M. Roberts Stadium, affectionately known as 'The Rock.' The University of Southern Mississippi struck a $13.7 million deal with Renasant Bank in exchange for the namesake. For the next 10 years, 'The Rock' will become 'Renasant Stadium.' The Mississippi IHL said that the university and bank had come to a mutual agreement after evaluating the value of the naming rights. The agreement can be terminated at any time and is active starting Friday, Aug. 21.
