Anduril’s Rocket Motor Systems group is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team. The Rocket Motor Systems group designs, develops, and manufactures next-generation solid rocket motors for defense and space applications at Anduril.

As a Quality Engineer, you will work inside and outside the organization to define and execute processes that deliver reliable products. The right person for this role has knowledge of manufacturing, product development, and continuous improvement. WHAT YOU’LL DO

Develop and implement quality control systems and processes.
Monitor and analyze quality performance.
Inspect materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
Collaborate with operations and engineering to develop and implement controls and improvements.
Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues.
Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
Review standards, specifications, and processes.
Create and perform validations for tools and equipment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus in quality, aerospace, or mechanical engineering or similar technical field.
Experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
Experience reading and interpreting drawings.
GD&T knowledge, understanding dimension and tolerancing.
Metrology knowledge and experience.
Root Cause investigation experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in a technical field.
Experience using metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM etc.).
Experience with Vision Measurement Systems.
Excellent project management skills.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
