  • Proven track record building and leading high-performing technical teams of 10+ people in complex organizations.
  • Experience establishing data governance frameworks in multi-site or distributed healthcare organizations.
  • Architectural fluency with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse.

  • Lead SCA's AI roadmap, from MLOps infrastructure and model development through production deployment and monitoring; prioritize use cases through business case analysis and establish clinical validation protocols.
  • Establish responsible AI standards, including model documentation, bias monitoring, explainability requirements, and an AI Review Board to ensure clinical AI deployments meet safety and transparency standards; track FDA SaMD guidance.
  • Partner across the enterprise on data- and AI-informed product decisions, data security and AI risk, platform design, and clinical and operational use case identification and adoption.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of 12–15 data and AI professionals across six functional areas, and establish a culture of rigor, curiosity, and clinical partnership.
  • Own the Data & AI technology budget, vendor evaluation, and contract strategy; make build/buy/partner decisions and defend investment priorities with ROI analysis to executive and board-level audiences.

  • Experience deploying generative AI in enterprise or clinical settings, including RAG pipelines, LLM evaluation, and guardrails.
  • Track record of data product thinking, treating data as a product consumed by business users rather than only as infrastructure.
  • Graduate degree in computer science, data science, statistics, biomedical informatics, or a related field.
  • Experience operating in a private-equity-backed or high-growth, acquisition-driven environment.
