Requirements
  • A 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Software development experience with comfort in several programming languages across different platforms.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on technology experience, with deep knowledge of Information Protection, Cloud Security, Networking Security, Identity and Access Management, Automation, and Security Information and Event Management.
  • Expertise in Large Language Model security, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Model Context Protocol, input validation, and sandboxing.
  • In-depth understanding of the OWASP Top 10 for Large Language Model Applications.
  • Understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • Understanding of prompt injection, including direct, indirect, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation poisoning styles.
  • Knowledge of Model Context Protocol authentication patterns, including dynamic client registration.
  • Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation authorization patterns.
  • Experience mitigating security risks of local coding agents.
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices, including NIST and ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, and secure software development.
  • Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, Security Information and Event Management, and Data Loss Prevention.
  • Understanding of security management workflows in large enterprise organizations and complex environments.
  • Understanding of the current threat landscape and organizational security challenges.
  • Experience using a variety of security tools and technologies across diverse environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with artificial intelligence platform, product, and engineering teams to evaluate the security posture of artificial intelligence systems throughout their lifecycle.
  • Define and evaluate security assessment methodologies, testing frameworks, and assurance standards for artificial intelligence technologies.
  • Develop and execute security validation strategies for artificial intelligence systems, including threat modeling, attack simulation, and adversarial testing.
  • Conduct technical reviews of artificial intelligence products, platforms, and architectures to identify security improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with engineering teams to validate secure deployment patterns for artificial intelligence workloads across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Assess artificial intelligence architectures, models, agents, and supporting infrastructure to identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and design weaknesses.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls, guardrails, and mitigations protecting artificial intelligence applications and platforms.
  • Perform hands-on security analysis and testing of complex artificial-intelligence-enabled systems, identifying gaps in architecture, implementation, and operational controls.
  • Recommend risk mitigation strategies and prioritized remediation plans to improve the security and resilience of artificial intelligence systems.
  • Provide expert guidance on artificial intelligence security best practices, including model security, prompt injection defenses, agent security, supply chain security, and data protection.
  • Prioritize high-impact security improvements that reduce risk while enabling innovation and business objectives.
  • Identify emerging artificial-intelligence-specific threats, attack techniques, and vulnerabilities, and communicate their potential business impact.
  • Collaborate with security, architecture, and engineering teams to improve artificial intelligence security controls and governance practices.
  • Assess and communicate security risks to stakeholders while balancing technical realities, business priorities, and organizational objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on artificial intelligence security as artificial intelligence capabilities evolve across the enterprise.
