- Lead the Manufacturing teams to achieve maximum productivity and output without compromising health, safety, environmental management, quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Develop a strong team aligned with Apollo's values and ensure team members are accountable for their actions.
- Oversee all staff working on the night shift, including maintenance and security.
- Maintain overall accountability for manufacturing areas under control, including health and safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, growth, and new product releases.
- Ensure the production plan is executed safely, efficiently, and according to agreed schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor operational performance against agreed key performance indicators, communicate results through daily management processes, and implement actions to address performance gaps.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved specifications and quality requirements, and appropriately escalate and address non-conformances.
- Manage headcount within areas of responsibility, maintain budget commitments, and ensure increases are approved and aligned with the company's growth strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
- Ensure effective communication and shift handovers to maintain operational continuity and knowledge transfer between shifts.
- Lead and coach Production Leaders, Deputy Production Leaders, and Production Operatives, holding them accountable using tools such as the accountability ladder, the SBI model, and the 7 Habits of Coaching.
