Requirements
  • 6-10 years’ of experience in AML, Data Analytics, Technology Implementations, and/or related functions/roles.
  • Ability to synthesize data and develop SQL to perform analysis
  • Experience with defining and implementing standard sampling methodologies
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated self-starter with proven ability to credibly challenge peers and external teams
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead data analysis reviews across business lines utilizing various internal and external systems and databases
  • Define processes and lead reviews among multiple Citi business lines regarding but not limited to - effectiveness analysis, below the line testing, non-detection inquiries, and ongoing Screening Platform monitoring and maintenance
  • Document and report findings to various Stakeholders and appropriate Governance committees
  • Define and implement industry standard sampling methodologies focusing on risk identification and evaluating system efficiencies
  • Advise senior management on next steps and provide recommendations on the next course of action based on analysis/findings
  • Liaise with AML Screening Technology partners on enhancements and releases in support of ongoing Screening Platform expansion.
  • Liaise with business stakeholders reviewing business processes and provide recommendations and findings resulting from analysis

  • Experience with analytic tools such as Python, Cognos, Tableau preferred
