Responsibilities
  • Act as a senior Fund Finance lead supporting the Global Infrastructure Debt platform and associated feeder, financing and leverage vehicles.
  • Partner with Investment Teams throughout the investment lifecycle to ensure efficient onboarding, execution and ongoing management of investments across participating funds and mandates.
  • Lead allocation review processes and confirm adherence to allocation policies, investment guidelines and portfolio construction objectives.
  • Oversee transaction execution and settlement activities, resolving operational issues relating to compliance, settlement, funding, hedging and reporting.
  • Coordinate with borrowers, sponsors, lenders, legal counsel and external service providers to support execution and ongoing management of investments.
  • Maintain strong operational controls and ensure accurate investment setup and lifecycle management within Aladdin.
  • Review valuation outputs and challenge significant movements, assumptions or anomalies.
  • Partner with investment teams, valuation providers and pricing specialists to ensure robust valuation governance.
  • Lead liquidity management across the Global Infrastructure Debt fund complex, including cash forecasting, unfunded commitments, deployment planning and dry-powder management.
  • Determine optimal funding strategies through investor capital calls, subscription facilities, asset-backed lending facilities and fund-level leverage arrangements.
  • Coordinate capital calls, fund borrowings, distributions and debt service obligations across fund structures.
  • Oversee ongoing management of financing facilities, including borrowing base calculations, covenant monitoring, utilization management and lender reporting requirements.
  • Partner with Treasury, Asset Management, NAV Oversight and Fund Accounting teams to optimize liquidity and minimize cash drag.
  • Support operational oversight of rated note structures, securitization vehicles and other structured financing solutions used across the platform.
  • Monitor structural tests, waterfalls, reserve requirements and reporting obligations associated with leveraged vehicles.
  • Support the launch and implementation of new products, including leveraged funds, collateralized fund obligations, asset-backed lending structures and bespoke client solutions.
  • Oversee production and review of investor reporting, management reporting, financial reporting and board materials.
  • Support responses to investor due diligence requests, operational reviews and ad hoc client enquiries.
  • Coordinate investor-specific reporting obligations, side letter requirements and bespoke reporting solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements across applicable structures.
  • Provide management information and strategic insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Review operational implementation of client commitments and reporting obligations across the platform.
  • Drive operational scalability across the infrastructure debt platform.
  • Lead initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, data governance and artificial-intelligence-enabled workflow improvements.
  • Enhance reporting and data capabilities through Power BI and other technology solutions.
  • Develop and document controls, procedures and best practices across the Core Portfolio Management function.
  • Support operational implementation of new products and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the Fund Finance team.
  • Act as a key stakeholder across cross-functional initiatives supporting the broader BlackRock and GIP operating model.

PsiQuantum has secured $450 million in funding from investors including Sequoia Capital and BlackRock. BlackRock backs Ditrolic Energy to build 5GW+ solar pipeline across Asia Pacific

Ditrolic Energy has secured investment backing from BlackRock's Climate Finance Partnership to expand its solar energy projects across Asia Pacific. The partnership aims to facilitate Ditrolic Energy's 1GW+ pipeline of solar projects, increasing its total targeted capacity to over 5GW in Malaysia, Bangladesh, Indonesia and the Philippines. David Seeberan was named a partner and global head of the family office group, while Victoria Matthews joined as a managing director and head of the family office group for Europe and Asia, Bloomberg initially reported on Friday. Carlyle confirmed details to Family Wealth Report. Seeberan, based in San Francisco, joined Carlyle from Cercano Management, an investment firm catering to ultra-wealthy individuals and family foundations. He is due to report to Nedelman and Amal Alibair, the head of its client business for North America. Matthews, based in London, was previously head of UK family offices and endowments at BlackRock. The article noted that Carlyle reckons that the addressable family office market has total assets of $5 trillion, and the US firm has raised about $50 billion from wealthy families and individuals.

BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager behind the iShares family of ETFs, manages $15.3 trillion in client assets. The company generated nearly $7.1 billion in revenue during Q2, with almost $2 billion converted into net income through management fees collected regardless of performance. The firm has grown significantly from overseeing $9.4 trillion just three years ago, with net cash inflows of $868 billion over the past year. BlackRock's quarterly dividend has increased 150% over the past decade to $5.73 per share. The company earned $12.19 per share in Q2, up nearly 20% year-over-year. The Azerbaijan Infrastructure Investment Dialogue was held, jointly organized by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan and BlackRock, one of the world's leading asset management companies, on September 26, 2026, Trend reports. The dialogue, held within the framework of the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum in Baku under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, focused on discussing investment opportunities in artificial intelligence (AI) and digital infrastructure, energy infrastructure, as well as strategic transport and logistics corridors. In addition to high-ranking Azerbaijani government officials, the dialogue was attended by executives from international investment institutions, infrastructure companies, and global business entities.
