Requirements
  • A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Robotics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a machine learning-related occupation.
  • At least 4 years of experience using C++ or Python to develop and implement high-performance machine-learning models and algorithms in production environments.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Git, issue tracking, continuous integration and continuous delivery, and modern software-engineering practices for scalable and maintainable machine-learning code and pipelines.
  • At least 4 years of experience using classical machine-learning algorithms, including linear and logistic regression, decision trees, Naive Bayes, K-nearest neighbors, K-means, and random forests.
  • At least 4 years of experience with machine-learning operations, including model versioning, model and data lineage, monitoring, model hosting and deployment, scalability, orchestration, and continuous learning.
  • At least 4 years of experience creating orchestration workflows using tools including Airflow for automated model training and evaluation.
  • At least 3 years of experience using deep-learning techniques in natural language processing and computer vision to implement production model architectures.
  • At least 2 years of experience using data-science tools, libraries, and frameworks including scikit-learn, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • At least 2 years of experience in robotics engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience using robotics frameworks and libraries including ROS, OpenCV, and Open3D to implement, test, and deploy robotics algorithms and support robotics systems in production.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and improve software technology used in robotic applications.
  • Reimagine robot prototypes to solve fundamental challenges in artificial intelligence and robotics.
  • Architect scalable infrastructure for model training and data processing of high-performance pipelines.
  • Design systems to explore solutions for real-world problems using model-based and data-driven techniques.
  • Train, deploy, and sustain machine-learning models on cloud and on-premises infrastructure to enhance robotic capabilities.
  • Build and refine machine-learning pipelines across training, evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
  • Design, test, and implement robust model architectures suited for production in partnership with research and engineering teams.
  • Improve code quality through regular peer reviews and promote best practices in software processes.
  • Engage in the research environment to track advancements in machine-learning architectures, frameworks, and applications.
