- A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
- A current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Ohio is required.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills are required.
- A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care is required.
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy services that improve independence, safety, and quality of life.
- Address activities of daily living, upper extremity function, cognition, positioning, and functional mobility.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Participate in care conferences and discharge planning.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and therapeutic interventions to maximize patient outcomes.
- Complete timely, accurate documentation and daily billing.
- Educate residents, caregivers, and facility staff on restorative and functional maintenance programs.
