Requirements
  • Strong experience in structured cabling, fiber tracing, and rack and patch panel environments.
  • Ability to interpret and update technical drawings.
Responsibilities
  • Perform redlining of data center drawings, including rack elevations, floor layouts, and cable pathways such as ladder rack, tray, and conduit.
  • Trace and document A-to-B cable connectivity for fiber and copper.
  • Update patch panel port assignments, switch connections, and rack/unit positions.
  • Identify and correct labeling discrepancies and missing or undocumented cabling.
  • Clearly mark adds, moves, and changes work on drawings.
  • Work closely with field technicians, project managers, and engineering/CAD teams.
  • Capture field data using markup tools such as Bluebeam Revu, spreadsheets, and cable schedules.
  • Provide clean, organized redlines for as-built conversion.
