Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient ability to use and navigate on a personal computer and personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
  • Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required.
  • Physical Demands include standing, walking, using hands, reaching, talking and hearing, reading instructions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing (including using a 6’ ladder), balancing, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds (up to 50 pounds occasionally), pushing and pulling a wheeled demonstration cart, preparing foods using raw products with utensils, handling cleaning supplies.
Responsibilities
  • Complete in-store demonstrations of both food and non-food products; acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented; serve, demonstrate, intercept consumers, and sell products in a professional manner.
  • Be responsible for event execution equipment in the stores and ensure it is clean and secured in the backroom.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and grooming consistent with job requirements.
  • Manage equipment and supplies used for events to ensure they are clean and secured in the agreed upon area of the backroom.
  • When Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management about upcoming events and act as the point person for all events conducted in the store.
  • Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools as needed.
  • Assist Supervisor by providing leadership and knowledge to the team.
  • Possess the aptitude to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
  • Intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
  • Assist/perform all job responsibilities assigned to the demo program.
  • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
  • Prepare and serve food samples including raw meats, produce, and eggs in compliance with food safety guidelines.
  • Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
  • Set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
  • Complete all work assigned and assist with preparation for client visits and audits.
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
  • Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
  • Prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
  • Take digital photos of Perfect Table Setup to document success stories for clients.
