Job Description:

As a QA Engineer at Gesture, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital products. Leveraging your expertise in automated testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive testing strategies and deliver high-quality solutions that delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated test frameworks and strategies for frontend, mobile, and backend applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools like
  Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Jest, and Enzyme.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and maintainability of the codebase.
• Perform exploratory testing and identify edge cases and potential issues.
• Analyze and report on test results, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing trends, tools, and methodologies.
  Contribute to the continuous integration and delivery (C|/CD) pipeline.
• Log and document bugs in the tracking system.
• Ensure maximum test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
• Document automated processes comprehensively, covering test plans, test procedures, and test cases.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, excluding internship experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript)
  
• Frameworks such as NodeJs, React, ReactNative.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Jest, Enzyme).
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, performance testing).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and data testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, qTest).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mobile app testing (iOS and Android).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab Actions).
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
  Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
• Familiarity with test reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Looker Studio, Allure, ReportPortal).
• Experience with test automation frameworks for NodeJs, React and React Native applications.

The pay range for this role is $80k to $120k annual, in addition to commissions and bonuses. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
