- Six months to one year of previous medical experience and an MA or EMT credential are required.
- Certification is desired.
- The candidate must be able to give instructions, process orders, answer patient questions, and triage patients.
- The candidate must establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians, patients, and their families.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills are required.
- Assist physicians with patient care.
- Schedule patients and manage clinic duties.
- Process prior authorizations and obtain pre-certifications for MRI, CT, and surgery cases.
- Track results.
- Answer patient questions and triage patients.
- Maintain a positive image of the practice and support a seamless patient experience.
