About the job
- Complete all work safely and follow safety requirements consistent with the company’s TRIR goals.
- Follow environmental requirements consistent with the company’s environmental performance goals.
- Complete and actively participate in all company safety training requirements.
- Maintain a clean driving record in accordance with company insurance policy.
- Have 4 years of experience working in a supply store environment.
- Have 2 years of experience working specifically with PVF.
- Have 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Be able to lift over 50 pounds.
- Be able to operate power equipment to move materials if needed.
- Be able to sit or stand for long periods.
- Extend customer service to walk-in customers and customers calling in orders.
- Build and maintain good vendor relationships.
- Take orders by phone or in person.
- Coordinate delivery of materials to job sites.
- Source, locate, and procure non-stock items requested by customers.
- Use discretion to make decisions regarding order fulfillment.
