Artefact, a global consulting firm specialising in data and AI transformation, has acquired Munich-based The Nunatak Group to strengthen its position in the German market. Founded in 2011, The Nunatak Group employs around 50 consultants and AI engineers across Munich, Berlin and Zurich. The firm operates across four practices: AI Strategy & Growth, People & Organisation, Operating Models, and Marketing & Sales Transformation. The deal follows Artefact's acquisition of Explorate AI in October 2025 and the opening of offices in Munich and Berlin. The Nunatak Group founder Robert Jacobi will become chief executive officer of Artefact in Germany, with a mandate to more than triple the DACH business by 2030. The acquisition continues Artefact's expansion following recent deals for Belgian data science firm Agilytic and process automation specialist OFI Services.
Former French minister Stanislas Guerini joins Artefact in global leadership role. 11 September 2026 Consultancy.eu Artefact, a global AI and data consulting firm, has appointed Stanislas Guerini as Managing Partner and Global Lead of People & Organisation AI Transformation. Already involved with Artefact as a Senior Advisor since 2025, Guerini has been tasked with building and growing the People & Organisation AI Transformation offering globally. In his dual role, he will also oversee the Artefact AI Academy. With the new offering, Artefact aims to expand its organisational capabilities in the AI space, recognising in particular the important role people play in making AI transformation successful. "The deployment of AI requires a fundamental rethink of roles, skills and the organisation of work. Beyond the technological challenges, its large-scale adoption requires organisations to rethink their management practices, employee career paths, training policies and social dialogue," said Vincent Luciani, CEO of Artefact. "As AI now enters a phase of massive deployment and adoption, we want to provide our clients with a comprehensive response to the transformations it brings, fully integrating their human and social dimensions in a pragmatic way. The experience of Stanislas in leading major transformation projects and tackling human and organisational challenges is a tremendous asset in developing this expertise within the company." A 2006 graduate of HEC Paris, Guerini began his career in consulting before founding Watt & Home, a renewable energy company. He subsequently joined Elis, where his roles included Director of Customer Experience. In 2015, Guerini joined Emmanuel Macron's government. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for Paris in 2017 and became General Delegate of La République En Marche! in 2018. In 2022, he was appointed French Minister for Public Sector Transformation and Civil Service, a position he held until September 2024. During his tenure, he placed digital transformation and skills development at the heart of the modernisation of the French public sector. He also contributed to the deployment of artificial intelligence in public services, launching early generative AI initiatives aimed at streamlining public administration, improving citizen services and supporting civil servants in their daily work. After leaving the French government, Guerini joined HR consulting firm Topics as a Partner, advising numerous large public and private organisations on transformation, skills, management and social dialogue. Commenting on his new role at Artefact, Guerini said: "AI is no longer just a new tool for employees. It requires a fundamental rethink of roles, skills, management styles and organisations at large. This collective transformation must be driven by the C-suite, combining strategic vision with a deep understanding of the human dimensions involved. I am thrilled to fully join Artefact, contribute to this ambition and bring my experience in transformation projects to this new chapter."
