Learning and Development Internship – Undergraduate
We are a mission-driven team of collaborators, doers and problem-solvers relentlessly committed to a culture of safety. As part of our small, passionate, team, you will be embedded in our Talent Development Team where you will gain exposure in Learning Management Systems, data integrity and validation projects, and course development via instructional design projects.
This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. We offer internships at the following locations: Kent, WA; Cape Canaveral, FL; and Huntsville, AL. However, not every technical discipline is offered at each location. Most internships will be held in Kent, WA. This internship will last 15 weeks.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Instructional Human Resources, Design, Education, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in learning management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment across multiple locations and demonstrate a strong employee focus.
- Ability to manage activities and projects based on given priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Captivate, InDesign), and e-learning development applications (e.g., Articulate 360).
- Technical skills in storyboard development.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current green card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
- Experience with mobile LMS platforms.
- Experience with program management and project management.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience supporting tools like Jira or ServiceNow.

The compensation for on-site WA applicants is $25.73 hourly
