- At least 2 years of experience in an underwriting or broking department at an insurer, managing general agent, or broker.
- A degree in Law, Business Administration, or a similar field.
- A high level of English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Organizational, meticulous, and problem-solving abilities.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with clients and internal teams.
- Proactivity, willingness to learn and develop, teamwork orientation, and results orientation.
- Analyze, underwrite, and develop business across Property, Liability, Accident, Travel Assistance, and Life lines, with a primary focus on Property and Casualty.
- Ensure appropriate risk selection and contribute to the profitable growth of the underwriting agency.
- Develop corporate and public-administration business.
- Analyze corporate risks, including technical analysis, exposure valuation, and document review.
- Prepare quotations and proposals tailored to each client and sector.
- Negotiate terms and conditions.
- Review wordings, clauses, limits, and deductibles.
- Manage opportunities with brokers, including visits, presentations, and follow-up.
- Identify business opportunities.
- Prepare commercial materials, proposals, and sales arguments.
- Coordinate with the production team to issue contracts.
- Monitor accounts and clients, claims experience, and renewals.
- Coordinate with the claims team.
- Prepare activity reports, key performance indicators, and business metrics.
- Prepare presentations for commercial meetings and reporting to insurers.
- Support the analysis and updating of active products.
- Support the development of new products and binders, including drafting policy conditions, rates, and contracts.
