Requirements
  • 3-6 years of experience in an analytics role focused on data analytics that includes exposure to Marketing, Product, and/or Finance teams
  • Advanced in SQL and data visualization tools, with a focus on creating clear, impactful reliable reports and ad hoc analyses – bonus if you have Python or Alteryx in your back pocket
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to dissect the true business needs by reading between the lines of what is being asked, proposing the path forward, and bringing even your non-data savvy stakeholders along with you
  • Strong business acumen to identify which analytics asks will make the most impact on business value and a keen understanding of how data analytic insights translate to business value
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams and the ability to build strong relationships across the organization
Responsibilities
  • Know the data inside and out to be able to help address business questions efficiently
  • Write ad-hoc SQL queries in response to data reporting and analytic requests, and build clear intuitive dashboards (e.g., such as in BI tools like Amplitude or in Google Sheets) that make business-relevant insights easily accessible to the team and guide great business decisions
  • Turn your understanding of the team’s needs into insights that can be articulated back to the team in an easy-to-follow manner
  • Manage your time to get to outputs quickly and can explain where future iterations would improve your work
  • Help colleagues refine their asks so that your insights are high-quality and enable the teams to make decisions

  • If the perfect data isn’t available, you know how to get scrappy to piece together an analysis that gets the team to a better decision than they would have otherwise had
  • Always thinking about the next step: 'Now that we know this, what should we do?' and proactively answering the next layer questions
