Senior DevOps Engineer - Multiple roles
About the job
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, twelve-factor application principles, and test-driven development.
- Experience with Kafka producers, consumers, and brokers.
- Experience with containers and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience designing and building pipelines, automation, containers, and Infrastructure as Code for enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience implementing standards and best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery frameworks.
- Extensive experience with Azure DevOps and scripting or automation development using PowerShell, Python, and YAML.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, PowerShell scripting, Git, Linux, shell scripting, and Azure Resource Manager templates.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud-native offerings, including Azure DevOps tools for planning, building, testing, releasing, and monitoring.
- Drive DevOps automation and containerization strategies aligned with DevOps principles and standards.
- Plan, design, test, and deliver pipelines and infrastructure using a continuous integration and continuous delivery model.
- Analyze DevOps practices and identify gaps and impediments to continuous integration and delivery.
- Engage with Information Security to augment the continuous integration and continuous delivery framework with DevSecOps and standardized security tools and controls.
- Enforce quality controls and gates throughout the build, test, and deployment process, and establish Definitions of Ready and Done to ensure delivery quality.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training on build, test, and release-management best practices.
- Collaborate on and provide input into the continuous integration and continuous delivery roadmap, identifying gaps and dependencies.
- Perform DevOps health assessments on existing pipelines and identify gaps and recommendations.
