Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in police administration, law enforcement, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience and education.
  • Fifteen years of experience, including five years in a leadership position.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a member of the leadership team providing strategic direction on a systematic security approach across all regions, markets, and facilities.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on prioritizing identified needs to maintain protection.
  • Work effectively as a team member in a dynamic executive environment within a matrix organization.
  • Promote teamwork within and across the organization by maintaining positive relationships and using effective problem-solving skills.
  • Develop, review, maintain, and implement security policies and procedures for the system.
  • Ensure compliance and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Provide awareness of security policies, procedures, and programs throughout departments and regions.
  • Oversee operational and budgetary activities and capital plans supporting security programs for the organization.
  • Lead the development of security solutions that fulfill business strategies and provide safe, secure, and market-competitive environments throughout facilities and points of service delivery.
  • Lead collaboration with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
  • Maintain liaison status with all appropriate law enforcement agencies.
  • Oversee human resource management for the assigned area and create a culture of employee engagement.
  • Ensure human resources policies are administered consistently across the function.
  • Organize departmental areas through appropriate structure and delegation of functions.
  • Identify succession-planning needs.
