About the job
- Maintain a current ServSafe certificate or be able to participate in food services sanitation training to become ServSafe certified.
- Have past food service leadership experience, including food preparation, full-line menu items, and therapeutic diets.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Be able to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate written and verbal communication, organization, time management, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to serve seniors in a team environment.
- Oversee the food service program, including meal preparation and service, sanitation of food service areas, accurate record keeping, receiving, rotating, and inventorying products, and regulatory compliance.
- Plan and direct the food service program.
- A culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred.
