Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience managing compensation and benefit programs.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting internal global teams.
  • Experience using insights to inform strategy for the successful roll out of compensation and benefits plans.
  • Experience with international legislations, regulations, and best practices affecting compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities
  • You will support the development of the strategy for new compensation, benefits, and retirement programs and plan design changes, managing all aspects of benefit plans including the annual benefits review process, enrollment and administration .
  • You will monitor the effectiveness of current programs, recommending enhancements that support employee satisfaction and retention.
  • You will provide guidance and interpretation of policies and programs, ensuring compensation practices are followed and decisions are documented.
  • You will participate in compensation surveys, recommending survey sources that meet evolving benchmarking needs.
  • You will manage the year-end compensation process which encompasses merit, statutory increases, profit sharing, and annual cash incentives in partnership with HR Business Partners.
  • You will provide compensation recommendations for new hires and promotions and develop/ maintain compensation ranges based on approved guidelines.
  • You will partner with learning, communications and legal to develop communication and training materials to educate employees about compensation practices and benefits offerings.
  • You will monitor local laws and regulations to ensure compliance and awareness of trends in compensation and benefits across all international locations.
  • You will oversee relationships with compensation and benefits vendors, consultants and insurance carriers.

Desired Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience with an HRIS such as Workday.
  • 1+ years of experience in a news or media organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, human resources, or related field
