Network Security Analyst
About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent related experience may substitute for the degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in information services, including demonstrated knowledge of complex multi-site local area network and wide area network environments.
- At least 2 years of experience with switching and routing, firewall support and troubleshooting, wireless networking, and intrusion prevention.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Check Point Certified Security Administrator, Check Point Certified Security Expert, Cisco Certified Network Associate, and Cisco Certified Network Professional are beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and be a United States citizen.
- Resolve trouble tickets and respond to alerts generated by monitoring systems.
- Design and implement network and security solutions.
- Participate in cross-discipline troubleshooting for high-visibility or complex issues.
- Manage the legacy wide area network environment and participate in designing and implementing new customer-facing applications hosted via the internet.
- Create and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, incident reports, audit remediation, and runbooks.
- Local candidates from Wichita, Kansas are preferred.
