Requirements
- Secondary or high school education.
- Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage are advantageous.
- Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- High degree of professionalism with human resources management and business acumen capabilities.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills.
- Good communication and customer contact skills.

- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities
- Plan the outlet budget and review monthly revenue and expenditure forecasts.
- Analyze and submit month-end reports and identify deviations from business plan goals.
- Participate in management meetings to review progress toward business plan goals and develop the annual business plan for the outlet.
- Plan, implement, and measure profit-enhancement programs with the kitchen and Marketing Department; prepare and submit a post-mortem promotion report to the F&B Manager after promotions.
- Implement and maintain controls to keep food and beverage costs, productivity, labor costs, and operating supply costs in line with the budget.
- Conduct daily departmental briefings so team members receive pertinent information.
- Supervise team members to ensure assigned and required outlet tasks are completed on time and according to instructions and departmental standards.
- Build relationships with guests and regular patrons, remembering their names and preferences to provide personalized service.
- Handle guest complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently, including extraordinary requests and complaints.
- Handle administration related to cashier and bar operations and company policies.
- Maintain the department communication logbook and updated notice board.
- Check equipment and stock levels to prevent shortages affecting operations or guests.
- Check outlet and back-of-house cleanliness for compliance with food and beverage sanitation and hygiene rules and regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of food and beverage services, contents, and preparation methods, outlets, and hotel services and features.
- Ensure health, safety, and security procedures are in place in the outlet.
- Attend assigned briefings, meetings, and training.
- Provide proper handover and communication to the next shift.
- Assist other food and beverage outlets during peak times or when required.
- Interview, select, and recruit outlet employees.
- Identify and develop team members with potential.
- Conduct performance reviews with the team.
- Monitor team members’ appearance, attitude, and professionalism.
- Develop and conduct staff training programs focused on team members’ development needs and skills for changing business needs.
- Prepare weekly staff schedules based on anticipated business, operating budgets, and service standards.
- Prepare payroll and gratuity reports.
- Conduct monthly departmental meetings to inform team members, obtain feedback, resolve operational issues, and provide a regular forum for department communication.
- Remain accountable for the outlet’s profitability and revenue generation.
