Requirements
  • Several years of experience in Digital Analytics, Web Analytics, Tracking Engineering, Product Analytics, or a comparable role, ideally in e-commerce, platform, product, or omnichannel environments.
  • Proficiency with complex tracking setups and technologies and methods such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, server-side tracking, and consent management.
  • Practical experience with BigQuery and with Power BI, Looker Studio, or comparable data, analytics, and dashboarding solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of tracking conception, measurement planning, data layers, data quality, analytics governance, and documenting reliable measurement logic.
  • Ability to analyze funnels, customer journeys, conversion paths, and digital product or feature performance and derive relevant insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into robust, technically implementable, and privacy-compliant tracking solutions and understand the interfaces between tracking, BI/data platforms, engineering, product, and marketing.
  • Ability to independently assess and prioritize complex requirements according to business impact, effort, feasibility, data protection, and strategic relevance.
  • Ability to explain complex technical and analytical relationships clearly, reconcile different functional perspectives, and communicate confidently in German and English.
Responsibilities
  • Develop scalable tracking solutions for websites, apps, digital services, and campaigns across the entire customer journey.
  • Define and maintain binding standards for data layers, events, parameters, naming conventions, measurement logic, measurement plans, and documentation.
  • Monitor the completeness, consistency, and reliability of tracking data and analyze and resolve errors, data breaks, and inconsistencies.
  • Own the functional development of consent management and ensure tracking solutions are privacy-compliant, technically robust, and usable for analysis.
  • Work closely with performance marketing to ensure reliable campaign, paid social, and conversion data as well as transparent and comparable reporting logic.
  • Support the development of data structures, dashboards, and reports and derive concrete insights, hypotheses, and recommendations from funnel, journey, conversion, and usage analyses.
  • Translate requirements from product, user experience, marketing, and business teams into robust measurement concepts, evaluate them, and enable internal stakeholders to work with data and key performance indicators.
  • Further develop analytics processes, quality standards, and cross-team ways of working, manage external service providers, and create a reliable data foundation for scalable insights and artificial intelligence and automation applications.
