About the Company

United Parks & Resorts

Operates multiple theme and water parks

United Parks & Resorts runs a group of well-known theme and water parks across the United States, including SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and Sesame Place. Its business is to operate these parks, offering rides, animal shows, live entertainment, and family attractions for guests who buy tickets, passes, or season memberships. The parks work like destinations where visitors explore different zones, watch shows, and ride attractions, sometimes with seasonal events and experiences. The company differentiates itself from competitors by managing a large, recognizable portfolio of branded parks with a long history and a shift in branding to emphasize broader family entertainment beyond just SeaWorld, reflecting its roots and ongoing strategy to diversify its identity in a competitive amusement market. Its goal is to sustain and grow its portfolio of iconic parks while navigating the entertainment landscape and evolving consumer preferences.
