  • Uses hand tools and follows blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Can quote jobs.
  • Can inspect equipment for wear and notify the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Can determine parts needed for repairs and their required timing.
  • Can read and interpret product specifications.
  • Can provide technical support to customers.
  • Can perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness.
  • Maintain equipment by inspecting it for signs of wear and notifying customers and/or the Operations Manager of findings.
  • Document each job, maintain files, and record daily time, progress, duration, parts, materials, labor, subcontractors, and other costs; return unused resources.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
  • Submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Stay current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Review product sales metrics and work with others to develop appropriate product-selling plans and programs.
