Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • July 21, 2026, IBTS exceeded its Puerto Rico weatherization goal, hitting 103 homes.
  • March 2026 SAME San Juan visibility strengthens IBTS’s disaster recovery brand in Puerto Rico.
  • January 2026 Marshall building-inspections meetings show continued local-government service expansion and customer stickiness.

What critics are saying

  • IBTS depends heavily on federal and Puerto Rico public funding cycles through 2026.
  • A missed FEMA or DOE recompete would quickly squeeze revenue and staffing.
  • Federal procurement concentration creates existential risk if appropriations stall or agencies rebid work away.

What makes IBTS unique

  • IBTS owns FEMA, HUD, and DOE program management, not just advisory work.
  • IBTS combines inspections, compliance, training, and document control across public-sector recovery programs.
  • IBTS’s board includes CSG, ICMA, NACo, NGA, and NLC, giving deep government access.
