- A high school diploma is required.
- The candidate must have a certificate of completion from a recognized massage program with a minimum of 500 hours.
- The candidate must hold a State of California Massage License.
- The candidate must pass the MBLEX or NCBTMB test in accordance with California Massage License Requirements.
- The candidate must have comprehension of SPASOFT software.
- Perform spa treatment services according to spa treatment protocols.
- Demonstrate a high level of guest service.
- Participate in all spa treatment and service training programs.
- Assist guests with home care programs and products.
- Communicate with peers, management, line employees, and front-of-house employees.
- Attend daily communication and service meetings, weekly staff meetings, and monthly department meetings.
- Maintain all sanitation and HACCP documentation in accordance with California and DH&R health codes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area and the general property.
- Stock and restock treatment rooms with necessary supplies.
- Maintain the company image and vision statement.
- Make optimal use of financial resources.
- Participate in ongoing training and encourage the personal development of associates.
- Provide an exceptional guest experience.
- Perform related duties as required.
- Perform duties safely, observe safety procedures, and report accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
