About the job

Requirements
  • Have 1–3 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar outbound sales role, ideally selling a technical product to a technical buyer.
  • Be comfortable conducting email, social, and phone outreach and writing effective prospect messaging.
  • Have enough technical fluency to discuss AI infrastructure with technical buyers, or demonstrate the appetite to develop that fluency quickly.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM and pipeline practices, logging activity as it occurs and keeping data clean.
  • Be comfortable qualifying leads against pain, budget, timing, and technical fit, and deciding when to route a lead upward or manage it independently.
  • Have hands-on experience with prospecting tools such as Apollo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or be able to learn them quickly.
Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end research for promising verticals, including mid-market and early-stage startups, enterprise, AI labs, generative AI companies, visual effects and rendering, and bioinformatics.
  • Build accurate, enriched prospect lists using Apollo, Unify, Crunchbase, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Map organizational structures to identify decision-makers and budget holders such as the chief technology officer, head of infrastructure, machine learning lead, and operations leaders.
  • Track GPU capacity trends, ecosystem movements, and gaps that may indicate product opportunities, and feed that intelligence back to shape messaging and campaigns.
  • Run multichannel campaigns across email, social media, and phone, tailoring messaging to each prospect's technology stack and scaling needs.
  • Write technically aware messaging addressing AI infrastructure pain points such as GPU scarcity, latency, scaling bottlenecks, and market shifts.
  • Book at least 30 discovery calls per month with qualified buyers and secure platform registrations.
  • Deliver at least 5 qualified opportunities per month to the account executive team that convert into pipeline.
  • Own the inbound lead queue as the first priority, ensuring no inbound lead remains uncontacted beyond 4 business hours.
  • Respond to every inbound lead with a personalized, technically aware first touch reflecting the lead's context.
  • Qualify inbound leads by validating pain, budget, timing, and technical fit before routing them.
  • Route high-value or complex opportunities to the senior account executive and head of sales with full context, while independently managing smaller or early-stage leads through qualification.
  • Track and report inbound volume, source quality, and conversion rates so the go-to-market team can evaluate channel performance.
  • Log every inbound lead in the customer relationship management system upon receipt, including source, initial context, and next step.
  • Use sales frameworks and playbooks to validate pain, budget, and timing and determine how to onboard customers for the long term.
  • Understand each customer's technical context, including workload type, GPU requirements, current deployment scale, and appropriate stakeholders.
  • Hand off qualified opportunities to the account executive team with complete context and answered qualification questions.
  • Log all activity, insights, and engagement data in the customer relationship management system.
  • Optimize outreach methods and sequences based on performance data.
  • Collaborate with marketing, go-to-market, and the account executive team on outbound content, including case studies, email hooks, and campaign angles.
  • Experiment with artificial-intelligence-driven prospecting tools and automation to improve go-to-market team efficiency.
  • Identify and vet new GPU cloud providers and capacity sources to address supply gaps against active pipeline, particularly for high-demand H100, H200, B200, and B300 GPUs.
  • Monitor the GPU supplier landscape, including neoclouds, regional data centers, and emerging capacity providers, and build a bench of vetted providers.
  • Work with Sales and the founding account executive team to understand unmet requirements on live deals, including region, SKU, node count, service-level agreement terms, and timeline, and translate them into targeted supplier outreach.
  • Conduct initial provider vetting covering capacity, pricing competitiveness, service-level agreement terms, data center tier and certifications, and network performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospective and onboarded providers in Airtable's Supplier Inventory, including capacity, pricing, lead times, and relationship status.
  • Flag supply constraints and emerging shortages to Sales and leadership so pricing and deal strategy can adjust before they become blockers.
  • Build relationships with provider-side business development and sales contacts to create a repeatable sourcing channel.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling into AI labs, infrastructure teams, or developer-heavy organizations.
  • Familiarity with the GPU or cloud market, including neoclouds, data center capacity, and GPU SKUs such as H100 and H200.
  • A track record of experimenting with AI-driven or automated prospecting workflows.

Shadeform launches Spot to resell idle GPUs, cutting providers' contract costs 29%

Shadeform, a GPU cloud marketplace, has launched Spot, a tool that lets GPU providers resell idle capacity at a discount. The San Francisco company announced it on October 20, 2026, during its Launch Week. Providers enrol a node with a single script. Shadeform can then resell the node whenever it would sit unused and hand it back when the provider needs it. Shadeform estimates the extra revenue cuts the total contract value of owned infrastructure by 29% on average. Buyers get dedicated GPU instances at a discount to on-demand rates, but instances can be pre-empted. Spot suits interruption-tolerant work such as checkpointed training, batch inference, and rendering. Users get advance notice before an instance is reclaimed. "Every hour a GPU sits idle is revenue left on the table," said Jeff Jewett, chief operating officer of Shadeform.

Shadeform launches Flex VMs to turn bare-metal GPU clusters into cloud capacity in 30 minutes

Shadeform has launched Flex VMs, a virtualisation layer that turns any bare-metal GPU cluster into single-tenant virtual machines and connects it to the San Francisco company's marketplace. Once approved, a node can be enrolled in about 30 minutes. Each node runs virtual machines with full GPU passthrough and no overcommit. Providers can pull nodes back at any time, or run their own workloads on them through Provider Priority. Owners register a machine with a short script, using only its IP address and an SSH key. Shadeform reviews each submission, replacing what used to require a full sales conversation. Providers can resell idle nodes on Spot with one click. Shadeform estimates this can cut total contract value by up to 29%. Its current Flex VMs have achieved more than 95% utilisation across Blackwell and Hopper series GPUs.

Shadeform hires Fluidstack and RunPod veterans to expand GPU supply chain capacity

Shadeform, a GPU cloud marketplace, has appointed Caroline Teitelbaum as Head of Data Center and Colo Supply and Jean-Michael Desrosiers as Head of Cloud Infrastructure. Both join from AI infrastructure firms Fluidstack and RunPod respectively. Teitelbaum previously led AI data center site selection at Fluidstack, helping scale its portfolio to gigawatts of AI compute. At Shadeform, she will expand the company's network of data center partners and identify powered capacity for new GPU deployments. Desrosiers was Head of Infrastructure at RunPod, where he scaled compute capacity to over 25,000 GPUs across 100-plus providers globally. He will oversee projects from cluster design through launch at Shadeform. The hires aim to address supply-chain bottlenecks as GPU demand outpaces availability.
