Experience developing data network protocols, drivers, or data network management software.
A solid foundation in industry-standard network technologies, routers, switches, spanning tree routing protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and PIM, and YANG.
Experience configuring and debugging routers, Ethernet, VLANs, and related network systems.
Experience with Linux system or networking administration, including firewall configuration.
Experience with open-source networking software such as FRRouting and libyang.
Experience configuring and operating network function virtualization in virtual machines and/or containers.
Experience with network simulation tools such as CORE and/or EMANE.
Proficiency with C, C++, Python, and/or other scripting languages in a Linux environment.
Project collaboration experience using tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Git.
Experience automating tasks with shell scripts, Python, Ansible, and Jenkins.
