- A certificate of completion or degree from an accredited radiography program is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience is required.
- Biennial completion of the minimum required continuing education credits is required to maintain certification or accreditation.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be licensed by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and credentialed in radiography and mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists license is required.
- Current New Jersey radiologic technologist license is required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Direct daily activities within the department.
- Facilitate employee orientation and training.
- Perform area-specific quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept.
- Assist physicians with radiographic procedures.
- Operate radiographic and associated equipment.
- Ensure maintenance of all radiographic and associated equipment.
