TXN raises prices in Q3 2026 to boost revenues and margins as semiconductor demand strengthens

Texas Instruments has begun raising prices on its semiconductors after maintaining stable pricing in the first half of 2026, management confirmed during its second-quarter earnings call. The increases are being negotiated with customers and are expected to contribute to revenue growth starting in the third quarter. The move comes from a position of strength. Second-quarter revenues rose 23% year over year to $5.46 billion, whilst operating profit jumped 47.8% to $2.31 billion. Analogue revenues increased 26%. Management expects only a small pricing contribution to third-quarter growth initially, with most sequential revenue gains coming from higher unit volumes. However, sustained price increases could support margins if demand remains strong across industrial, automotive, and data centre markets. Competitors including Analogue Devices and ON Semiconductor have already implemented similar pricing strategies in 2026.

Denison TX real estate forecast: Q4 2026 outlook.

Denison TX real estate forecast: Q4 2026 outlook. September 9, 2026 Denison, Texas is entering Q4 2026 as something it has never been before: a primary housing destination, not a budget footnote to Dallas. The $60 billion semiconductor buildout in neighboring Sherman - headlined by Texas Instruments' four-chip-fab complex - is pulling engineers, technicians, and the suppliers who serve them straight up Highway 75, while a revived downtown and a $6 billion resort project are making Denison itself the draw rather than the consolation prize. For most of the past two decades, Denison was the affordable edge of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro, a place buyers settled for when McKinney and Frisco priced them out. That calculus has started to shift. Zillow places Denison's average home value at $225,218, down 6.8% over the past year, with homes going to pending in around 60 days (Zillow[[1]]). On the surface that reads as a softening market. The deeper story is a correction from a 2021-2023 spike converging with an employment wave that has not yet finished arriving. How Sherman's chip boom is redrawing Denison's demand map. Grayson County's housing demand is no longer driven by spillover from Dallas - it is driven by one of the largest industrial expansions in Texas history, sitting minutes away in Sherman. Texas Instruments is building four 300-megawatt semiconductor fabrication facilities with a combined price tag north of $30 billion, each producing millions of chips daily and creating 3,000 direct jobs; GlobalWafers is adding a $5 billion silicon-wafer plant with 1,500 jobs, and II-VI a $3 billion laser-components operation (Cooper Land Company[[2]]). For every direct semiconductor role, local brokers estimate the region generates 2.5 to 3 indirect jobs - teachers, healthcare staff, contractors, retail managers. That math points to 10,000 to 15,000 new households needing a place to land in Grayson County within five years, and much of the developable land sits between Gunter and Denison (Cooper Land Company[[2]]). Sherman's own stock can't absorb that population, so Denison becomes the pressure-release valve. The result is visible in the land market: raw acreage along Highway 75 and FM 1417 that traded at $8,000 to $12,000 per acre in 2024 now commands $18,000 to $25,000 per acre, and developers are assembling 3,000- to 4,000-acre master-planned sites (Cooper Land Company[[2]]). TI ISO5852S-EP Enhanced Isolation Gate Driver detailed Overview - 5.7kvrms/100kv/μs high CMTI.

TI ISO5852S-EP Enhanced Isolation Gate Driver detailed Overview - 5.7kvrms/100kv/μs high CMTI. The TI ISO5852S-EP isolated gate driver is specifically designed for high-reliability applications like industrial motor control, solar inverters, electric vehicle power modules, and defense. Texas Instruments (TI) ISO5852S-EP Enhanced Isolation Gate Driver provides high performance for high reliability applications such as industrial motor control, solar inverters, electric vehicle power modules and defense with its 5.7kVrms enhanced isolation, 100kV/μs ultra-high CMTI, 2.5A/5A separation output and active Miller clamping, soft shutdown, desaturation detection and other comprehensive protection functions A highly secure isolation-driven solution. Shenzhen Mingjiada Electronics Co., Ltd., a world-renowned distributor of electronic components, is now supplying TI ISO5852S-EP isolated gate drivers in stock. With genuine products and extremely fast delivery, it helps engineers and procurement personnel efficiently complete selection and mass production. I. Product Overview ISO5852S-EP is a single-channel enhanced isolated gate driver launched by Texas Instruments, specifically designed to drive power semiconductor devices such as IGBTs and MOSFETs. The device uses CMOS technology and silicon dioxide (SiO[2]) capacitor isolation technology to achieve high-speed isolated signal transmission. The input terminal is powered by a single power supply of 2.25V to 5.5V and can directly interface with a variety of low-voltage microcontrollers; the output terminal allows a power supply range of 15V to 30V, which can flexibly adapt to the driving needs of different power devices. ISO5852S-EP uses SOIC-16 wide-body packaging and a working environment temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, which can adapt to various harsh industrial environments from extremely cold to high temperatures. II. Core Technical Characteristics 1. Ultra-high common mode transient immunity (CMTI) ISO5852S-EP has a common-mode transient immunity of at least 100 kV/μs under VCM = 1500 V conditions. This value is at the leading level among similar isolated drives, which means that in high common-mode voltage and strong electromagnetic interference environments, the device can still work stably, effectively resist common-mode interference, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of control signal transmission. 2. Separate output and high current drive capability ISO5852S-EP uses a split output design (OUTH and OUTL) to provide 2.5A peak pull current and 5A peak fill current. The separate output architecture allows engineers to independently optimize the drive resistance of the on and off paths, achieving a drive strategy of slow on and fast off - this design can effectively suppress dv/dt and EMI noise during on, and ensure rapid gate charge discharge during off, reducing switching losses. The high-current driving capability can quickly charge and discharge the gate capacitance of power devices, achieving rapid switching action, and is particularly suitable for the driving needs of high-power IGBTs and SiC MOSFETs. 3. Ultrashort propagation delay The typical propagation delay value of ISO5852S-EP is only 76ns, and the maximum value is 110ns. Ultrashort propagation delay ensures that control signals can be transmitted to power devices quickly and accurately, reduces signal transmission time errors, and improves system response speed and control accuracy. 4. Multiple protection functions ISO5852S-EP integrates a rich set of protection mechanisms to provide comprehensive protection for the safety of power devices and systems: 2A active Miller clamping: effectively suppresses the false opening of IGBTs and MOSFETs caused by the Miller effect. In systems powered by a single power supply (without negative voltage shutdown), this feature prevents parasitic conduction of power tubes due to Miller capacitive coupling, significantly improving system reliability. Output short circuit clamping: When an output short circuit occurs, the output voltage is clamped within a safe range in time to protect the driver and power devices from damage. Soft shutdown: When a short circuit or desaturation fault is detected, start the soft shutdown procedure and gradually shut down the IGBT within 2μs to avoid voltage spikes and overcurrent caused by sudden shutdown and protect the power device from secondary impact. Desaturation (DESAT) fault detection: Built-in desaturation fault detection function can identify IGBTs in time when they short circuit or overcurrent occurs. After a fault is detected, a fault alarm signal is issued via the open-leak FLT pin, and the device can be reset via the RST pin. Input/Output Undervoltage Lock (UVLO): Both the input and output sides have undervoltage lock functions, and the status is indicated by the RDY (Ready) pin. When the power supply voltage falls below the set threshold, the driver automatically shuts off the output to prevent power devices from malfunctioning due to insufficient power supply. Active Output Pull-Down: In the event of low power or input suspension, the output is pulled down by default to ensure that the power device is in a safe shutdown state. Input pulse suppression: It can suppress input pulses and transient noise shorter than 20ns, enhancing the system's anti-interference ability. 5. Wide voltage range and high compatibility Input supply voltage: 2.25V to 5.5V, directly compatible with various low-voltage microcontrollers and DSPs (such as TI C2000 series) Output driver power supply voltage: 15V to 30V, flexibly adapted to the gate drive voltage requirements of different IGBTs and MOSFETs CMOS compatible input: can directly receive PWM control signals output by MCU/DSP In-phase and inverting inputs: Provide in-phase and inverting gate control inputs simultaneously to meet different system design requirements 6. High safety and reliability Wide operating temperature range: -55°C to +125°C, suitable for various harsh industrial environments Surge immunity: 12800 VPK surge immunity according to IEC 61000-4-5 standard III. Typical Application Scenarios ISO5852S-EP is widely used in power conversion and control fields that require high voltage isolation and high reliability: - Isolated insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) and metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) drivers - Industrial motor control drive - Industrial power supply - Solar inverter - Hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and electric vehicle (EV) power modules - Induction heating IV.
