↑ 0%The market for smart glasses is growing continuously: Google mother group Alphabet has recently announced a $ 150 million partnership with Warby Parker to develop glasses with Google Gemini AI.
In May, Alphabet announced a $150 million partnership with Warby Parker to develop smart glasses that rely on Google's Gemini AI assistant, while Snap this month said it would unveil its sixth-generation augmented reality smart glasses next year.
Given that Google is busy developing its Vision OS-style platform, it seems more than likely that the search giant will also have its own hardware to accompany it, as well as licensing the tech to others - it recently announcing a tie-in with American eyewear brand Warby Parker.
The company also announced a partnership with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker to develop a line of AI-equipped augmented reality glasses as part of the Android XR platform, competing with comparable offerings from AI rival Meta.
