Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Consolidate financial data for reporting to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern.
  • Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Monitor and review account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor accrual financial performance against budgeted figures and explain variances.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights into the company's financial performance and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Provide support for strategic decision-making by conducting financial analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit necessary tax filings accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and assist with audit-provided-by-client requests and questions for internal and external auditors during financial audits.
  • Provide documentation and explanations for audit inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounting processes.
  • Implement best practices to streamline procedures and improve accuracy.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, legal, and other cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.

  • CPA designation is highly preferred.
