Requirements
  • A degree-level or higher qualification in a scientific discipline, with a minimum GPA of 3.3, including biology, chemistry, pharmacy, medicine, or another scientific specialty.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in consulting, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or the public sector analyzing and communicating health data to key stakeholders.
  • Strong scientific writing skills and the ability to tailor writing style to different audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of written accuracy.
  • Excellent proficiency in written English and arithmetic.
  • Excellent data presentation skills, including effective and efficient use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Sufficient technical and strategic knowledge to provide clients with recommendations on project content and approach.
  • Experience communicating directly with clients or key stakeholders and building robust, sustainable relationships.
  • The capacity to maintain customer service and quality of deliverables under multiple competing demands.
  • Project management skills to enable timely project delivery.
  • The ability to motivate colleagues and take a leadership role in delivering project components.
  • Experience reviewing and providing constructive feedback on junior colleagues’ work to support the development of high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver market access, health technology assessment, and health economics projects for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
  • Develop health technology assessment submission packages for CDA-AMC and INESSS.
  • Write economic evaluations and budget impact analyses.
  • Develop reimbursement strategies, evidence generation plans, value communication materials, and other market access deliverables.
  • Interact regularly with clients by email and in meetings, provide strategic input, and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard within agreed timelines.
  • Review project work, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the development of the wider project team.
  • Work primarily on Canadian projects and contribute to international value and access projects with colleagues in global offices.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience delivering relevant project types within an agency setting.
  • Experience working in health economics and outcomes research in the Canadian setting, including health technology assessment submission packages for CDA-AMC and/or INESSS.
