About the job
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- A professional-level or higher Computing Environment (CE) certification, such as Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCNP Datacenter, Juniper, Palo Alto, or F5.
- An active Secret clearance.
- At least 5 years of experience performing the specified network functions.
- At least 5 years of network administration experience.
- Documented experience with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and the Nexus 9000 series.
- At least 5 years of experience configuring and maintaining switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and network management tools.
- Experience with network management, analysis, and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with network automation and scripting.
- Experience with data center management, including automation.
- Experience in patch management.
- Experience implementing and maintaining Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guides (DISA STIGs) or equivalent security management strategies.
- Experience deploying firmware and security configurations using automation.
- Experience developing project documentation, including standard operating procedures, project plans, and network diagrams.
- A strong networking background.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
- A bachelor's degree at a minimum.
- Implement and sustain NIPR and SIPR switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and network management tools in a Cisco ACI data center environment.
- Perform network management, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain local operating procedures and policies.
- Monitor the ongoing operation of the network.
- Train junior team members.
- At least 5 years of Cisco switch management experience.
- Experience with the Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000, and 2000 series and the Cisco Catalyst series.
- Experience with the Cisco MDS 9000 series.
- Experience with Cisco ASA and Firepower firewalls and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Experience with F5 load balancers.
