About the job
- Applicants must be able to multitask assignments and prioritize tasks according to client needs and schedules.
- Candidates should be self-starters, highly motivated, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with the client office to complete a site survey of the entire office suite before and in conjunction with the move-out, and record all computer and office-related equipment.
- Survey each piece of equipment to determine whether it meets minimum inheritable standards.
- Label each piece of equipment with an appropriate color-coded sticker.
- De-install computers and computer-related equipment in Washington, DC no later than one business day before the scheduled move date.
- Confirm server backups on the morning of a de-installation.
- Power down all computer equipment.
- Disconnect all computer and peripheral equipment.
- Install computers and peripheral equipment according to the approved final floor plan.
- Reconnect workstations, printers, laptops, peripherals, network devices, servers, and multifunction devices.
- Test all file server and computer connections for connectivity.
- Troubleshoot or resolve connection problems.
- Test printing for each computer and printer, including multifunction devices.
- Troubleshoot and fix printer, server, and workstation problems.
