Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Marketing, or a related area of study.
  • At least 3 years of progressively more senior responsibility involving marketing, sales, digital strategy, customer experience, and customer relationship management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with a retail-centric organization; experience with dealer or franchise-based brands is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute innovative, results-focused marketing programs and campaigns consistent with marketing best practices and capable of producing sustainable growth.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint presentation skills and strong written, oral, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Information Technology, Business Technology, Legal, Sales, and Human Resources.
  • Analytical skills to report key performance indicators, identify trends and challenges, and use data to produce actionable customer-focused insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret business needs into marketing and sales opportunities.
  • Passion for customer experience and willingness to stay current with marketing best practices, new technologies, and new ideas.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and Power BI.
  • Experience working with customer relationship management tools.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Develop creative marketing campaigns that reach target audiences through relevant traditional and digital marketing channels.
  • Identify target market segments, personas, and stakeholders for marketing programs and ensure communications are clear, professional, engaging, and relevant.
  • Track and measure marketing budgets to increase effectiveness and productivity.
  • Assess and report on marketing project effectiveness, including campaign return on investment, and recommend improvements.
  • Research competitors by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising.
  • Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative market and customer data collected by the dealership or a third party.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to translate data into insights and proposals for profitable growth initiatives.
  • Work with frontline aftermarket and product support sales teams to understand business goals, customer voice, customer segmentation, performance gaps, and opportunities.
  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns and initiatives to achieve annual business plans and multi-year growth goals.
  • Create personalized customer experiences by shifting go-to-market plans from product-driven to customer-centric.
  • Assist with customer data-mining efforts and use business development skills to identify new dealership opportunities in existing or undeveloped markets.
  • Partner with digital marketing, e-commerce, and product support sales teams on strategy, design, and content across traditional and digital channels.
  • Maintain an understanding of current original equipment manufacturer campaigns and communicate offers to the business.
  • Lead the creation of marketing collateral and support materials to achieve business objectives.
  • Review marketing materials for consistency across digital platforms, collateral, merchandise, and print communications.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience with dealer or franchise-based brands.
  • Prior experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or Data Cloud.
