- Currently pursuing a BA/BS Degree or higher in Environmental Health, Occupational Health and Safety, Public Health, or similar field and returning to the program after the completion of the internship.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficient with Google Suite or related software.

- Complete technical EHS&S tasks end-to-end and provide tactical support when needed to drive toward shared team success.
- Assist with the development, implementation, improvement, and support for EHS&S policies, standards, work instructions, & training materials for needed programs such as: waste management, industrial hygiene, isolation of hazardous energy, confined space entry, work at heights, electrical safety, personal protective equipment, and hot work.
- Lead a technical project from start to finish while incorporating guidance from your mentor, manager, and peers.
- Assist with or shadow employee exposure monitoring studies, internal audits, onsite training, and event investigation within training and qualification limits as required.
- Shadow members of EHS&S Department in Safety Teams, Committees & Councils as assigned.
- Accurately maintains EHS&S documents, records, and data in a consistent and repeatable manner.
- Accurately research and analyze relevant regulations, codes, and standards to help guide Sila’s compliance efforts.
