Requirements
  • BS/MS degree in computer science or related field
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services
  • Working knowledge of iOS, Android/AOSP, QNX, and/or Linux
  • Working knowledge of C/C++, Python, and/or Typescript/Node.js
  • Excellent software development skills using Python, Typescript/Node.js, and/or OS scripting
  • Extensive experience with build tools, including Git, Gradle, NPM, GNU Make, Jenkins, and Xcode & Android build tools
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • 7+ years of industry experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent collaborative skills, ability to provide and receive guidance
  • Effective problem solving skills, able to consider alternative options and select the optimal solution
  • Thoughtful, pragmatic approach that considers tradeoffs
  • Embraces software engineering KPIs, including delivery velocity, quality, planning
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement stable, maintainable, extensible, and performant CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage the release trains that delivers new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to test, validation, and production environments
  • Maintain the build environments for development, integration, and deployments
  • Manage the release process for mobile apps and test benches, and OTA updates for test and production vehicles
  • Build, validate, integrate, and release Linux and Android/AAOS from source
  • Author process documentation, technical specifications, and delivery plans; define roadmaps
  • Track and leverage new DevOps, CI/CD, and release management technologies and processes
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional engineering and validation teams to support whole-vehicle build, release, and OTA update processes
