Requirements
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds, with occasional capability up to 100 pounds.
  • Must tolerate repetitive use of the hands, arms, and legs and demonstrate hand-eye coordination.
  • Must be able to hear, comprehend, and speak to safely perform the work.
  • Must be able to perform sedentary to heavy work.
  • May operate hand and power tools of electric, gas, and pneumatic types.
  • Must be able to climb and maintain balance on steel or wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
  • Must frequently use the hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects.
  • Must be able to perform prolonged bending, twisting, walking, crawling, kneeling, overhead reaching, squatting, pushing, pulling, standing, and lifting.
  • Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces, muddy conditions, loose rock, and loose or soft sand.
  • May be required to work in confined spaces and adverse weather conditions.
  • Must communicate effectively with management and supervision.
  • Must have talking, reading, and writing comprehension sufficient to give and receive directions and perform work and safety policies.
  • Must work at various tempos, concentrate amid distractions, make decisions, and attend to details.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Operators to ensure work is performed safely, correctly, and timely.
  • Inspect the quality of all work to ensure standards and specifications are met.
  • Assist workers with their duties and resolve problems.
  • Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations.
  • Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment, and information are available for the work.
  • Assist other craft workers as needed.
