Treasury Transformation within Finance is responsible to define, design, and manage the execution of change across organization, process, and systems required to support day-to-day Risk Management and reporting which span global Treasury groups, Finance functions, and technology. Treasury Transformation supports Citi’s number one priority, Transformation. Transformation will allow us to better manage risk and implement controls, improve the quality of our data, create a culture of ownership and accountability and clarify roles across the firm.
This role will report to the Head of Treasury Transformation and support Citi’s strategic initiative to define, develop and implement an enterprise-wide governance and management framework for the management of FX Risk on the Banking Book (FXRBB). This multi-year effort will transform the firm’s current decentralized reporting and management construct into a centralized framework with comprehensive and consistent risk identification, reporting, and management with supporting procedures and controls.
Responsibilities:
- Drive execution efforts in the FXRBB Transformation book of work to on-time completion
- Engage with various stakeholders across Treasury and Citi to ensure project objectives are met and all required governance and oversight requirements are met
- Execute against multiple contending priorities simultaneously
- Proactively manage potential challenges to avoid developing into risks or issues
- Produce and communicate status reports for Senior Management and Regulatory reviews
- Engage with Finance COO and other internal stakeholders with regards to FXRBB Transformation efforts
- Engage with IA on FXRBB related audits and transformation efforts
- Identify processes for improvement and participate in process reengineering efforts
- Utilize standard reporting processes
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of relevant experience within the financial services industry required; 10+ years of consulting and/or Project/Program Management
- In depth knowledge of banking products/systems and how FX risk impacts a bank
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills required ability to synthesize key messages and "storytell".
- Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management
- Ability to see the "big picture" without losing attention to detail
- Strong influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills
- In-depth analysis with interpretive thinking will be required
- Individual should be flexible, team-oriented, have good follow-up skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and dissect/solve complex problems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- The candidate must be able to work with teams as well as independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- This role requires multi-tasking, organization and the ability to quickly acquire and comprehend the required knowledge
