Requirements
Six months of verifiable work history is preferred, with preferred industries including healthcare, customer service, childcare, retail, or food services; alternatively, one year of verifiable volunteer or internship experience is preferred.
Must be available for the training sessions during the week of November 16–20.
Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record, and be comfortable driving clients in your vehicle.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds unassisted.
Must pass a Home Care Services Bureau Live Scan background check and be free of tuberculosis; the company will assist with the application and Live Scan process.
Must be available on weekends from Friday at 3 p.m. through Sunday at 11:59 p.m.
Must comply with company safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Complete one week of supervised, classroom, and online training through Windward Academy; the training totals 26–29 paid hours.
After successful completion of training, provide caregiving services to clients, including engaging elderly clients in socialization activities, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, assisting with walking, light housekeeping, companionship, running errands and attending appointments, and managing dementia- and Alzheimer's-related behaviors.

Following successful completion of the one week training program you will be scheduled with clients! No experience is required, we will train you!
$20.00 per hour (additional Shift Incentives offered based on shift length and location)
Weekends + $1/hr
Shorter shifts (less than 8 hours) + $2/hr and $20 gas stipend

Windward Academy is a training program consisting of supervised, classroom, and online training to set you up for success as a new caregiver!
