Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-5 years experience
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps workflows
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Interest in public sector innovation and responsible AI.
Responsibilities
  • Own a scoped technology accelerator feature from design through demonstration and transition.
  • Build and automate ML pipelines (Python, PyTorch, Pandas, Hugging Face).
  • Integrate with platforms like ServiceNow and Azure OpenAI via REST/SDK.
  • Support the design, prototyping, and testing of AI accelerators such as Predictive Analytics, AI-Ready Enterprise Data Management, and AI Literacy platforms.
  • Contribute to weekly standups and produce documentation, demos, and presentations.
  • Maintain concise documentation and dashboards for your work.
  • Engage in dual mentorship with Empower AI engineers and academic advisors (if applicable).

Empower AI appoints Ryan Hopper to lead Military Services Business Unit. Empower AI has named Ryan Hopper to lead its Military Services Business Unit, bringing 24 years of experience working with Defense Department and intelligence customers.
