Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or PhD)
  • 5+ years of experience with software development in Python, C++, C , Java, JavaScript, and/or Go
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects
  • 3+ years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role
  • 3+ years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Proven expertise in building and managing high-performing engineering teams, with a strong focus on delivering complex software projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a small team of engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and drive the technical roadmap that aligns with the strategic goals of the company
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable, reliable, and efficient software systems to support the deployment of development and production software
  • Drive best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration and deployment processes
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
