Hummingbird launches AI agents to automate financial crime compliance research and casework

Hummingbird, a financial crime compliance orchestration platform, has launched two AI agents to automate routine compliance work whilst maintaining human oversight. The Research Agent gathers intelligence from internal and external sources, producing comprehensive due diligence reports. The Review Agent completes cases by applying institutional policies, with options for human approval and quality checks. Unlike standalone AI tools, Hummingbird's platform unifies data, workflows and governance, allowing AI agents and human analysts to share context and contribute to a single audit trail. The AI is available within the platform and via API for integration with existing case management systems. Hummingbird serves banks, fintechs and crypto companies including Raymond James, Crypto.com and DraftKings. The new agents are now available.
