About the job

Requirements
  • 12+ years of technology delivery experience, with a career grounded in systems-integration program work designing and governing technical solutions across heterogeneous platform landscapes rather than single-platform implementations.
  • Hands-on technical depth across at least three of the program's platforms: ServiceNow platform configuration, integration, and workflow design; Blue Prism RPA process and object studio and orchestration; REST/SOAP API design and governance; or Sisense or equivalent BI platform architecture.
  • Proven integration architecture experience defining API contracts, managing cross-platform data flows, and governing integration across infrastructure boundaries in a live systems-integration delivery context.
  • Experience working beneath an Enterprise Architect, operating within an architectural framework, escalating appropriately, and avoiding enterprise-level decisions beyond the role's scope.
  • Technical governance experience covering design reviews, technical standards enforcement, environment management, and configuration control on complex systems-integration programs.
  • Onsite availability for client-side presence as the embedded technical authority.
Responsibilities
  • Own technical design across the full platform stack—ServiceNow, Blue Prism RPA, BOT orchestration, APIs, and Sisense—and translate enterprise architecture decisions into implementable, delivery-ready technical specifications.
  • Define and govern technical design for each platform workstream, including data models, workflow logic, integration contracts, automation architecture, and reporting-layer design, with sufficient detail for development teams to build without ambiguity.
  • Maintain technical design consistency across platforms and prevent decisions in one workstream from creating rework or conflicts in another.
  • Own and maintain technical design documentation, including solution design documents, interface specifications, data-flow diagrams, and technical decision logs, as living artefacts.
  • Operate within enterprise architecture decisions, escalate platform constraints or delivery realities that require enterprise-level decisions, and avoid substituting technology choices for architecture choices.
  • Own integration architecture across platform boundaries, including connections, data flows, and failure handling among ServiceNow, Blue Prism, orchestration, APIs, and Sisense.
  • Define precise API contracts and integration specifications for independent implementation and testing by Accenture and client development teams.
  • Govern integration design across Accenture-managed and client-hosted infrastructure, defining boundary crossings, security, and monitoring.
  • Identify and resolve integration design conflicts before they become system integration testing defects or go-live blockers.
  • Own the technical approach to BOT-to-platform integration, including Blue Prism bot interactions with ServiceNow workflows, API response consumption, and Sisense data-pipeline feeds.
  • Define and enforce technical standards across Vista workstreams, including coding standards, naming conventions, error-handling patterns, logging requirements, and security baselines, consistently across platforms.
  • Run structured technical design reviews at delivery gates, including PRDs, build completion, and system integration testing entry; document outcomes and track remediation.
  • Identify and manage technical debt, surface it explicitly, quantify delivery risk, and ensure program leadership has the information needed to make informed decisions.
  • Govern configuration management across platforms, including version control, environment-promotion standards, and change control for technical artefacts.
  • Serve as the technical authority for delivery teams, making grounded and timely technical decisions.
  • Own technical design for Vista's hybrid infrastructure model across Accenture-managed and client-hosted environments, defining boundaries, interfaces, and security controls.
  • Define environment architecture across development, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production, including consistent configuration, promotion standards, and technical readiness criteria.
  • Govern technical aspects of environment setup and release promotion, ensuring deployments are repeatable and documented and do not introduce configuration drift between environments.
  • Manage technical dependencies on client infrastructure by coordinating with client technical teams on access, configuration, and environment readiness while retaining technical accountability.
  • Provide technical direction to ServiceNow, RPA, API, and Sisense development teams through design clarification, technical problem-solving, and architectural guidance throughout the build cycle.
  • Review delivery teams' code, configuration, and integration implementations against design specifications; raise deviations early and track their resolution.
  • Support the Test Lead on technical test-design aspects, including integration-architecture test coverage, environment configuration, defect root-cause analysis, and test-data architecture.
  • Contribute to go-live readiness through infrastructure readiness, configuration validation, technical risk assessment, and post-go-live monitoring design.
  • Engage client technical stakeholders, including client architects, infrastructure teams, and security teams, as the primary Accenture technical contact for platform and integration design decisions.
  • Translate technical design into clear, non-technical language for business and program stakeholders when required, without losing precision about what is being delivered.
  • Represent technical design in client technical governance forums, defend decisions with evidence, acknowledge constraints honestly, and escalate client decisions that create technical risk.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams, such as teams in India, and vendors across time zones.
Desired Qualifications
  • ServiceNow platform certification, such as CIS, CAD, or equivalent, demonstrating platform depth beyond configuration familiarity.
  • Blue Prism Developer or Architect certification and hands-on RPA design and orchestration experience in a systems-integration context.
  • Experience governing hybrid infrastructure technical design across two or more hosting environments with different access, security, and configuration models.
  • Banking or financial services systems-integration background and familiarity with banking clients' security, compliance, and control requirements for technical architecture.
  • Experience with Sisense data architecture, including data-model design, pipeline integration, and dashboard-layer technical governance.
  • Availability to travel 25–30% to program locations for stakeholder workshops, governance, milestone events, and client relationship management.

Accenture jumps 19% on earnings beat as SEC opens private assets to retail investors

Accenture shares rose about 19% after the consulting firm beat earnings and revenue expectations for its fiscal 2026 year, and guided fiscal 2027 slightly above Wall Street forecasts. Revenue grew 5% in local currency; management expects 3% to 6% growth next year. Non-GAAP operating margin edged up to 15.8%. The stock had dipped below 10 times expected earnings and now trades at about 14 times. Accenture said 65% of new bookings came from outcome-based fixed-price projects, which a Motley Fool contributor called a counterweight to AI's unpredictable costs. Separately, new US Securities and Exchange Commission rules aim to open private assets to retail investors. They raise the performance fee cap for registered advisers, add professional licences as a route to accredited investor status, and give private funds more leeway on redemptions.

TÜV SÜD and Accenture unveil physical AI safety suite to bring factories online up to 30% sooner

TÜV SÜD and Accenture are working with NVIDIA technologies to speed up safety certification of robots in factories and warehouses. They unveiled a joint "Physical AI Safety Suite" at NVIDIA GTC Berlin. The suite uses digital twins, AI agents, and simulations to partly replace manual assessments. TÜV SÜD estimates the digital process could bring production online up to 30% sooner. Certification against standards such as ISO 3691-4 is mandatory in many industrial countries before automated facilities can start. At a medium-sized plant, agreeing on safety concepts can take several weeks. The suite checks layouts, robot fleets, and individual robots before deployment. TÜV SÜD provides independent assessment and keeps responsibility for certification.

Accenture caps staff AI spending at $29 a month after $1,000 bills

Accenture has capped employee AI spending at $29 (£21.75) a month after some staff ran up bills of $1,000, according to a report by 404 Media. The consulting firm wants to curb runaway costs as employees use AI for more everyday tasks. Companies are typically billed by usage, like a utility. Last week, some staff were told their access to Anthropic's Claude had been pulled entirely. Others are also reining in costs. Uber capped engineers' Claude spending at $1,500 a month after using up its AI budget in four months, while Microsoft has reportedly cut its Claude spending by about a third. The curbs come as Anthropic prepares for a public listing, targeting a valuation as high as $2tn. Investors are reportedly considering about $1.5tn.

Accenture's AI push: analysts see earnings reaching $10.3B by 2029 on 5.2% yearly revenue growth

Accenture is shifting AI work from pilots to deeply embedded systems, according to recent deals with UMass Memorial Health, Dell, Microsoft and Workday. The UMass Memorial project is a multi-year AI data platform, while the Dell alliance pitches private AI infrastructure to regulated clients. Analysts expect revenue to grow 5.2% a year over the next three years, with profit margins rising from 11.3% to 11.9%. They forecast earnings of $10.3 billion by 2029, up from $8.4 billion today, on revenue of $86.3 billion. The stock trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 14.2x, against 21.9x for US IT peers. Risks include slower decision cycles in federal and EMEA work, which could curb consulting demand and margins.
