  • Ability to work within tight cycles and deadlines with minimum supervision is required.

  • Understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure and poor-quality costs is required.
  • Ability to stand, reach with hands and arms, handle objects, tools, or controls, and lift or move up to 25 pounds is required.
  • Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required.
  • Availability for Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., is required.
Responsibilities
  • Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
  • Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists, and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
  • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and requesting repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Use equipment and supplies efficiently to accomplish job results.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Monitor the production process and perform basic testing and quality checks.
  • Adjust machine controls while monitoring production processes and outputs.
  • Clean and perform basic maintenance on work areas and machinery.
  • Report equipment faults to maintenance staff.
  • Build components and subassemblies into finished electrical or mechanical products.
  • Stack goods appropriately.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
