Requirements
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice compliance within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • Experience writing and maintaining current Good Manufacturing Practice documentation.
  • At least two years of experience in a quality assurance role in a current Good Manufacturing Practice-regulated environment.
  • A college degree, preferably in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, or another science field.
  • Ability to analyze data and information and resolve complex issues.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work and communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and reprioritize tasks.
  • Ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate computer and telephone keyboards.
  • Close vision required for computer work.
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
  • Ability to lift 10–15 pounds and work in a confined area.
Responsibilities
  • Perform quality assurance incoming inspections, release activities, sampling, shipment reviews, inventory control, and quality system functions in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice, company procedures, specifications, and applicable laws.
  • Perform quality activities supporting Warehouse Operations in accordance with company policies, standards, procedures, and global current Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Inspect bulk materials, packaging components, packaged finished products, raw materials, and outgoing products.
  • Sample bulk materials, packaging components, printed packaging components, finished products, and raw materials.
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practice warehouse compliance, conduct real-time reviews of warehouse records and logbooks, and work with Warehouse Operations to resolve issues.
  • Monitor data affecting material quality, including environmental and temperature tracking.
  • Archive and maintain hardcopy and electronic label files and change history files.
  • Issue, control, and manage printed packaging components.
  • Control and manage stability, retain, and reject materials.
  • Copy and scan documents as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments to accomplish responsibilities, make improvements, and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, applicable procedures, and warehouse requirements for storage, documentation, material handling, and safe equipment operation.
  • Review standard operating procedures periodically for relevance and accuracy in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver documentation on time.
  • Perform and support maintenance and closure activities for reports, protocols, exceptions or deviations, corrective and preventive actions, change controls, and complaints.
  • Work flexible hours, weekends, and off-hours as needed to support operations.
  • Support current Good Manufacturing Practice compliance of the facility.
  • Perform other activities assigned by the supervisor.
